I just got the most awesome review from one of my readers who has just finished reading book #1 Passionate Alliance, and book #2 Raven and the Golden Eagle; his name is Orvel Isaac and he is from Rycroft Alberta, Canada:
Lauretta's first literary foray Passionate Alliance will appeal to readers of both genders, although it has a romantic and emotional bent it is far from a "chick flick" It is set in the Dakotas and dabbles in the wild west and in the Cheyenne nation. It builds on the relationship between the white man and the Cheyenne and ventures into the mystical; it sets the stage for the sequel Raven and Golden Eagle which takes place 2 generations later. Her characters become more developed as does her writing style. Laueretta is a descriptive writer who goes into great detail about the daily life and traditions as well as the emotions of her characters. The second book leads into a new visionary character Dream Dancer and leaves you waiting for the rest of the story when the venue shifts dramatically to the English shores. If you enjoy fantasy with a historical twist you will enjoy Lauretta's unique writing style; it is well worth the read and hard to put down once you embark on the journey with her.
You almost need a box of kleenex beside you when you read Lauretta's books because her descriptions of the feelings of her characters evoke an emotional involvement.

Changes to my Blog

  Hello everyone, sorry that I have not been on here much lately, but I had to finish book #3!

  Now that I have some time I have edited my blog in the hopes that it is better, and more interesting. I took out the tibits for each book since I am still working on perfecting my books so things keep changing. Instead I will now put things pertaining to each book as they come about; example would be things I change or promotions that are added to each book as I get them done, or big book shows that my books will be showcased in (especially if I will be there as well).

  As you can see there is another tab added for my fourth book Twin Destinies, which I will now be working on. I am excited to now have my books set in Canada where it will stay for the next few books. Where I will take it from there is a mystery, although the new world I am planning might come into play before I leave Canada, we will see!

  I hope everyone approves of the changes and I hope my book #4 does not take me four years to complete, which is how long book #3 took lol. Although book #1 and #2 took 20 years, so the good news is that I am getting faster hahaha!!

  As soon as I have a cover and a page #3 for book three I will add them, so watch for more exciting events to come in the future.

Book #3 Dream Dancer & the Celtic Witch in my White Buffalo (New Beginnings) series is now complete, and my publishers have given me the thumbs up. Yeah, so hope to have it available withing a few months :) Book #4 is now in the works it will be called Twin Destinies.
